COMMUNICATIONS:  Kerry Dehmel gave a newsletter to our visitors and he had more copies available for anyone who wanted one.  Kerry stated that we would be sending around a sign-up sheet for anyone that would like to have their newsletter emailed to them instead of being mailed to them.  We could save Hedrick’s a considerable amount in postage if several club members would agree to have their newsletter emailed.  If anyone has anything they would like to submit for the newsletter please email it to Kerry.  Kerry stated that if anyone wants their car to be on the cover of the newsletter to email a picture of it to him.  He does have cars for the covers for July and August.

WEBMASTER:  Al Hall was not available to present the Webmaster report.  Allen explained to our visitors that people from all over the world look at the Corvettes of Fresno website and the website receives thousands of hits every month.  Allen stated what a wonderful job Al does as our webmaster and he is very much appreciated!

ACTIVITIES, Past:  Bert Sherman reported on the Mystery Dinner Run / Poker Run that he and Patty hosted on June 14th.  They had a very nice turnout for this event which consisted of a run through the foothills ending up at the Lakeshore Resort at Huntington Lake for a delicious Mexican buffet dinner!  Bert purchased a trophy to present to the winner of the Poker run and hopefully this trophy will be passed around from year to year.  There is room on the trophy to have ten winners names engraved on it.  The Burkhart’s took first & second place, John Ashley won the prize for last place.

Allen reported on the Valley Christian Center car show that took place on Father’s Day; June 15th.  Our club had five cars that participated.  Phil Lacey won a trophy for the best car in the “1976 – Present” category.  They had raffle prizes and free coffee, donuts and hot dogs.

Kent Burkhart thanked everyone that came to his mortgage burning party on May 31st.  He said he had a total of approximately 70 guests there and it was a lot of fun!    Kent donated a Clovis Fire Department T-shirt for our raffle.  Thank you Kent!  On a sad note, Kent reported that former COF member, Roland Crane, died last month in a house fire.  Our condolences go out to his family.
