What a fantastic time we had on this year's Ice Breaker!!
Thanks to Nick and
Angie Diliddo; Dave and Terri Cavanaugh; and Emile and Sue Natali.
Cathy and I had a great time.
The donuts and coffee in Los Banos, the wine at
Fortino's Winery, and the chowder at Phil's in Moss Landing were superb.
I
can't remember when I have laughed so much as I did at Domenico's. Thanks
to everyone at our table. Great stories from Buddy and Jo Ellen. The barbeque
by the pool was great.
I'm a little late in signing up for Tahoe 44. I'm number 7, but I'm anxious to
go. Get your application in soon. You don't want to miss Tahoe this year. It's
going to be fantastic.
I'm really proud of our Board. Everyone is stepping up and getting things
done. You should drop in on one of our Board Meetings and see. We would
like your input.
Everyone should have received their Redline Journal from WSCC. If you
haven't let me know.
Speaking of WSCC, congratulations to Jim Agar for the award he received at
their 39th annual Awards Banquet for his outstanding work on our Fiberglass
Forever newsletter. Great job Jim.
Well, that is enough for now.
From your honored President,
Ron Miller.

| Well, I made it through my first meeting without making too many mistakes. I really
appreciate members that contribute during the meeting. It makes it more interesting and informative,
especially for the newer members. Thanks for all the help.
Really sorry to hear about Candy. I'm glad that her last year and a half with us was fun. Fun is what we are about. Making the best of our time and enjoying it as much as possible.
We have some great runs planned. I'm really looking forward to the Ice Breaker Run on Jan. 28th and
29th. I don't care if it rains or freezes as long as my Corvette runs I'm going. I missed last year, but not
this year. Nick has planned some fun but left us with enough time to break out on our own if we want.
What I really like about this run is that once you are there you can park the car and walk to all the local
attractions. That allows you to have a few drinks without worrying about having to drive. The barbeque
by the pool is always fun. You can watch the boys barbeque and see if they can keep the dogs from rolling
off the grill. Can't believe we get the rooms for the same price we have been getting for years. Yea. Casa
Munras!
Don't forget to make your reservations for the Simi Valley Run in May. Call early and get the Jacuzzi
with a king bed or two queens.
Jonathan has a lot of activities on his list for this year, but there is always room for a mystery dinner run,
so sign up when the book comes around at the meeting and take us to your favorite burger joint or
whatever. It is always fun to experience places you haven't been to before.
Great progress is being made on Tahoe 44. Fill out your application and make your reservations. It is
going to be a great time.
My Corvette is racking up the miles for a change instead of being a garage queen. I've been busy burning
up Hwy 99 between Fresno and Modesto. My Valentine one radar detector has been a real money saver.
Ask me about it sometime. Enough for now.
